Hearson's Cove

This sheltered, calm bay is one of the most popular spots within a short drive of the City of Karratha or Dampier. At low tide the receeding water leaves a thin reflective layer for hundreds of metres, which is an absolute favourite for family photographers, dog walkers, mud-lovers and anyone wanting to explore the bay. At high tide, it makes for a perfect, family-friendly swimming spot with very little drop off for miles.
